Alana

When I’m not working on my thesis about Alfred Hitchcock’s film “Vertigo”, I am the wrangler, confidante and stylist of many Blythe dollies.

Annabel

Bellgirl is Annabel. Miniature worlds thrill me and always have. I love peeping into dollhouse windows and crafting tiny outfits and animals.

My dolly loves include:

* my Blythe doll Pippin and her many wigs
* Sindy- so photogenic!
* my rag doll Charlotte, made by mum and me when I was 10
* home-made little woolly people who live in cardboard box houses and
* my dollhouse, made for me in the 70s by my parents, and now in my little boy’s room.

Blythe is my dolly drug of choice. I found them through a fellow zine-maker on livejournal in 2004 and it was all downhill from there, though it was my third doll that got me hooked. I’m trying to keep the number under 10, so they can all take turns at being the favourite. My first girl, Darby, still has the power to veto new additions. I’ve also recently gotten into Dal dolls, and enjoy how different and frowny they are. On top of that I have one lone Pullip. My favourite part of doll collecting is introducing strangers to my Blythes and watching their expression when I change their eye colours.

I rediscovered Blythe about five years ago and started sewing clothes as I just couldn’t get anything nice for them to wear. It’s grown into an obsession really, I spend a good part of each day making something for my Blythes. The name JamFancy is the name I gave to my Blythe clothes and other things I make as well, it’s actually the name of a biscuit in Australia. I am also a printmaker and make sewn dolls and toys.

Jade

A stay at home wife and soon to be mother of three, I have been loving Blythe since 2006.  When I have the time I make a zine called Summarily.
My other interests include feminism, politics, family and friends, attachment parenting, art, music, semiotics, Barthes, short clean fingernails, coconut oil, purfume bottles that are shaped like things, brown paper packages tied up with string, white teeth, carmex lip balm, oats, boar bristle brush, vitamin c tablets, opaque stockings, vitamin e, jasmine oil, fruit trees, hibiscus flowers, vegie patches, apple turnovers, fairy lights, Kundera, weet-bix, vintage fashion, fabric softener, glow in the dark religious statues…

Jessica

My name is Jess, and I am a dollaholic.
I’ve loved dolls for as long as I can remember, and as a kid my poor mother went oot of her way to buy me as many as possible even tho we lived in a small town with no toy store (this was before ebay, I can’t even imagine how hard that would have been LOL).
I used to love any type of doll, but now in my old age I’ve finally focussed on Blythe as my main obsession. She is the most fun to dress, style and photograph and seems to bring oot the creative spirit in everyone she meets!
I also have Barbies, several dolls made by Integrity, Lati’s, countless figurines, She Ra dolls and once upon a time I even made porcelain dolls.
That’s aboot it, long live dollies and dolly lovers!

Marya

Misa1 on is the online moniker for Marya, a 33 year old female, from the east coast of the US. I keep a modest collection of Licca-chan dolls and playsets. These days, I share those with my three year old
daughter. My primary doll focus for the past few years has been Asian ball-jointed-dolls. I currently have 7 BJDs, with an 8th on the way.

When not dancing with dollies, I take care of my daughter, prepare for my second child (due in the fall), and write for a selection of small press venues. I also love to knit and crochet, two pastimes which go with dolls like peanut-butter goes with chocolate.

Sophia

Hi my name is Sophia and I like Blythes. Sometimes I do other things with my time too, like study, sleep, eat, walk, write, shop, draw, sew and drink.

Sue

Hello all!
My name’s Sue and I’m probably the last remaining person who finds LOLcats funny.
I have been strangely fixated with Blythe dolls since 2005. I’m also crazy about Petworks Nikki and have a growing obsession with Momoko.
My non-doll hobbies include quilting, Nintendo and telling stories about my cat.
